Lake Tahoe

Sometime mid-September, we headed out to Lake Tahoe for the weekend. My director at work kindly offered up her timeshare in South Lake Tahoe for the weekend to anyone who wanted it and I couldn't raise my hand quick enough. Free condo on the Lake? Yes please! So we drove up on Saturday morning after music class (Anderson's music class. We're in Music Together) and were there by noon. I always forget just how close we are to the Lake. It only took us 1.5 hours to get there. We checked in, ate lunch and then walked around and enjoyed the sights.

We also went to the beach where Anderson couldn't wait to get into the water, even though the water was freezing cold.

After more walking around and an early night, we headed out for a small hike. Unfortunately, we never quite could find the trailhead so we ventured off on what we thought looked like a trail and followed it for as far as we could. Anderson did okay in the carrier, though I could feel him moving around a ton, trying to see. And once we were stopped, he would fuss a little because he wanted to get down and do his own exploring.

Slippers

There is so much stuff to post but I just don't have the time right now. I still need to post pictures from our weekend in Lake Tahoe and our trip to Kauai (which we just got back from last night). But I did want to post this. Anderson's new slippers.

It's starting to get quite chilly here in the mornings and at night, and with half of our house being tile, the little toes get quite cold. Socks don't cut it as Anderson is slipping on the tile so I just bought these and they are oh so cute on. I'll have to remember to take a picture of him toddling around in them. (From the Gap)

There's also the Gap Casting Call contest again. I'd like to enter Anderson in but not quite sure which picture to enter. I'll have to weed through the thousands of pics I have on our computer and pick one. Maybe I'll even post them on here to let you all vote (that way, you'll have to leave a comment! HaHa!)
