August 2009

Summer is almost at an end and it quickly passed by this year. In August, we celebrated Wilson's 33rd birthday with a picnic. We also went to a couple birthday parties that were also pool parties. Anderson loves being in the water and had a great time splashing around. We also taught him to sit on the edge of the pool and lean in so he can jump into us and we'll catch him in the pool. That was a hit! He loved it. As soon as I sat him on the edge, he'd kick his legs and splash around for a little bit, and then he'd throw his arms up in the arm and jump in with no hesitation.

At school, they had a Hawaii day so we sent him off wearing his new Hawaiian shirt from his Uncle Asher and Julie.

If you look at the picture, you can see what he's doing. He's stacking. He's really into that. Stacking things.

Whoa! Watch out single ladies of Hawaii!

We also had some fun at the mall, letting him play in the play area and climb around. He seems to really like climbing things and he's pretty good. He got into that flower all by himself. He just needed some help getting out.

Once he got into the flower, he looked back and had a huge smile on his face. He was just beaming with pride.
