Skills

Wilson and I were watching the movie "Taken" this past weekend. The movie is about an ex-CIA agent who's daughter gets kidnapped while vacationing in France. She is on the phone with him when this happens and he instructs her on what to do so he can get as many details to find her one they take her. The kidnapper picks up the phone and Liam Neeson then proceeds to tell the kidnapper that he possesses a certain set of skills that he has acquired over a long career that will help him find his daughter and kill all of them. The responses is "Good Luck."

We watch the film and somewhere halfway through the film, Wilson says "I need skills. I don't care about these sales skills I have. I need some real skills. I need those skills. I need kick ass skills. I want Jason Bourne skills." Don't we all want Jason Bourne Skills? I know I wouldn't mind having those type of skills.

But my husband does have skills. He has photography taking skills. Granted, this won't get him far in any sort of crisis situation and it cannot help him win a fight against the CIA, but they are skills. He doesn't practice this enough, but when he does, there are some real gems in the collection. (Okay, I took a few of them too)

This past weekend, we went to visit some friends in the Bay area who have an 18 month old son named Aaron. We also saw Wilson's cousins and their 17 month old son Matthew. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Toddlers on the move

This is Aaron. I love this picture. It's perfect.

I love this one. It is so funny to me him standing there like that.

Oh, this is what my son does when he's outside and there is bark. He throws it up in the air, or showers himself with it.
